The Alzheimer's Alliance of Northeast Texas, Inc. began as a single support group in 1982 and has grown into a non-profit multi-faceted community service agency serving a sixteen-county region.

Our mission is to support those affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. We accomplish our mission through a variety of programs and services. We are committed to providing these services with unsurpassed caring and compassion. Funds for operations are recieved through direct public support, government revenue, and special events like the annual Alzheimer's Walk.

   •  The Alzheimer's Alliance works with the Alzheimer's Foundation of America to effect legislation benefiting families dealing with dementia.

Research
   •  10% of all memorial donations support research efforts.

Educational Conferences
Monthly Educational Conferences are offered for family caregivers and healthcare professionals (CEU's available) throughout the Alzheimer's Alliance Northeast Texas service area. The 2008 Conference Schedule will be published soon!  Special conferences are offered at various times each year, as well.  All conferences are taught by credentialed professionals who are extremely knowledgeable about Alzheimer's disease and elements of caregiving.
